Ayodhya Hills(2007)

It was in 2007...Me and my three frieds decided to make the first step in the world of trekking.Though it wasnt a typically reknowed trek route, but that time it was our only option as we hardly knew about any other routes. So we decided to trek to Ayodhya Hills. This is situated in the Purulia destrict of WestBengal. It was 29th December 2007, we boarded on a train at night. It was a 6 hour journey to purulia. We reached Purulia in the next morning. We then went to the nearest bus stand and took a bus to reach Baghmundi. In Baghmundi we had some breakefast. It was a 2 hour drive from Purulia. We the looked for some guides but couldn't find one.Atlast we got one boy who had agreed to acompany us to the hill top.We started our journey at about 11 in the morning. We encountered some steep clims initially. But then it was quite easy all the way.We found the Bamni falls on our way and spend some time there. We reached Hill top at around 3.30 in the afternoon. We all were very hungry. We had lunch and went to the bed quickly and had a long sleep till 10 in the night. We stayed at the WestBengal Tourist Banglow.Next morning we went to see nearby places. There is a dam which is about an hour or so from hill top.We sept the whole morning exploring the nearby areas.Alltogether it was a lovely experience for as.

  2. Many regional private air charter services fly propeller aircraft rather than jets. This type of travel has many benefits, including a shorter door to door time and the convenience of smaller local/regional airports.
